Here are some important tips to help you keep your jewelry looking its best:

Care

All Carolinne B jewelry is made from these metals: sterling silver 925, solid gold (18 karat) or gold (18 karat) plated on silver 925.

Precious metals are soft and cannot withstand hard knocks. Therefore, please take good care of your jewelry.

Gold plated jewelry items will tarnish over time. However, if you keep the pieces away from water, sweat and cosmetics, their beauty will last much longer. A new layer of plating can be arranged if the fading is significant.

Precious pearls are delicate. Avoid hitting hard surfaces as pearls are soft and cannot be repaired. Be aware that hairspray, perfume and cosmetics may cause damage on pearls.

Take off your jewelry before any kind of bathing, sleep, sports or rough manual work.

Storage

To avoid scratches on your jewelry, keep them in a box. Store each piece of jewelry separately, as the pieces might otherwise scratch each other. High polished and gold plated pieces are particularly sensitive.

Cleaning

Clean your jewelry carefully with a soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth; this helps maintain or bring back its shine. If necessary, you can use a mild washing up liquid with warm water and a soft toothbrush, then rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft cloth.
